About Bachman & Associates

We are in Gainesville, Georgia, and have been serving clients throughout North Georgia since 1974. We offer a truly unique opportunity to the homeowners and business owners of our area by following the design-build concept. There are many companies that offer design-build services, but their design is not by an architect on staff who follows through as the builder on the construction phase of a project.

Bachman & Associates have been the architect and builder on new construction (residential and light commercial), additions and renovations on many projects over our 46 years of being in business. We have served our clients as the architect, the builder, or as both.

Richard (Dick) Bachman, President

Dick is a licensed architect and a licensed builder in the State of Georgia. As President of Bachman & Associates, he has more than 40 years of experience being an architect and builder. He has served two times as the President of the Gainesville/Hall County Home Builders Association, of which he has been a member for more than 30 years. In 2009, he was honored as the “Builder of the Year” by the Association. He is also Chairman of the City of Gainesville Historic Preservation Committee.
